Dukore Twigire Project (DTP) – Pathways to Self-Reliance and Resilience

Funded by the European Union (Directorate General International Partnerships – DG INTPA), this initiative is brought to life by a consortium of three distinguished organizations: World Vision International (lead), Caritas Rwanda, and the Rwanda Organization for Development Initiatives (RODI). The project aligns with the Global Compact for Refugees and the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (CRRF), aiming to ease pressure on host countries and enhance refugee self-reliance. By ensuring that refugees and host communities are included in national planning and development, the project fosters an environment where displaced persons can contribute meaningfully to the local economies of the communities that host them.

Learning and Inclusion for Transformation (LIFT) Project

The Learning and Inclusion for Transformation (LIFT) project is a major educational initiative designed to support Rwanda’s vision of ensuring every child can learn and thrive. Funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by Cambridge Education, the program is a collaborative effort involving key national stakeholders, including the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB) and the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA).

In Rusizi District, one of the key areas selected for implementation, this mission is being carried out by a powerful consortium of three distinct organizations: RODI, ADEPE, and UPHLS.

Kora Wigire (Work for Self-Reliance) Poverty Alleviation Coalition (PAC)

Kora Wigire (Work for Self-Reliance) Poverty Alleviation Coalition (PAC) is a collaborative effort between (i) World Vision as the lead organization and Sub-grantees comprised of (ii) Caritas Rwanda and (iii) RODI to empower vulnerable refugees and host communities in Rwanda. Through the Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) model, this project aims to lift 3,800 households out of poverty by providing comprehensive support, including financial assistance, training, and mentorship.
