Our Mission: Food Security and Economic Empowerment
RODI’s mission is to strengthen Rwandans’ capacity to achieve food security, improve livelihoods, and increase economic opportunities. We accomplish this through a multifaceted approach that focuses on:
- Agriculture and Livelihoods: We promote sustainable agricultural practices that enhance food production and income generation for farmers. This includes promoting drought-resistant crops, water harvesting techniques, and soil conservation methods.
- Youth and Women Empowerment: We equip youth and women with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to thrive. This involves entrepreneurship development programs, training on climate-resilient livelihood options, and fostering a supportive environment for their endeavors.
